Ready, set, play: Creating your account and setting up in-game options ...

Procedures

Launch the game through BF2142 Hub.

Before hitting Play, you might want to adjust the video and game settings to your liking.

The game may take a few seconds to start, so expect a brief black screen before the intro appears. []

At the login screen, click CREATE NEW ACCOUNT. It might take a moment for the next screen to appear. [] []

Click ACCEPT TERMS. []

Fill out the registration form [] — but make sure to remember your EMAIL ADDRESS, ACCOUNT NAME and PASSWORD. If you forgot your password []

Click CREATE. If you received an error, then []

Click CREATE NEW SOLDIER.

Enter the SOLDIER NAME you want to use in-game and click CREATE NEW SOLDER.

You may notice the game resolution has changed. []

To fix this, go to OPTIONS → VIDEO and adjust the resolution first. Only choose the resolution and refresh rate that your monitor actually supports. []
